6 Easy Ways to Achieve Beautiful Clear Skin

You walk into a store and go to the skin care aisle. You look at hundreds of products wondering what to buy. But did you know you can get beautiful clear skin by using various things you have in your kitchen cupboard? And by altering your diet.
So, stop searching. Save some money and read 6 steps on how you can achieve beautiful clear skin.
1. Drink More Water
You probably hear and see this everywhere. But, drinking more water makes a huge difference to your skin.
Drinking water will make your skin look more youthful, radiant and clear from acne. This is because water helps your body cleanse out toxins faster, resulting in less spots and a beautiful glow. Water also hydrates the skin leaving it more youthful and wrinkle free. Aim to drink 2 liters a day.
2. Change Your Diet
Recently I have changed my diet by cutting out a lot of processed food. After doing so, I have seen a huge difference in my skin.
I cut out fried food, processed food (white rice, cakes, biscuits, white bread, any sugar, sweets, chocolate, fizzy drinks, crisps, cheese and pizza). Swap white bread and white rice for brown bread and brown rice. Increase your fruit and veg intake whilst gradually cutting out food that isn’t doing you any good. It’s not easy. But if you want your skin to clear up then take the challenge.
3. Exercise Regularly
Exercise gets rid of the bad toxins in your body. The sweat from exercise purges your body from bad toxins. Toxins in your body can clog up your pores. Clogged pores is certainly not going to give you clear skin. So, try to exercise for at least 15 minutes a day.
4. Oil Cleanse
Oil cleansing is great for any skin type. It’s gentle on the skin and leaves it feeling extremely soft and looking radiant.
Not only that, using oil as a cleanser is much cheaper. You don’t need to use too much at a time.
In my opinion, the best one to use is olive oil. I have used it many times and always seen wonderful results.
To oil cleanse:
- You simply put a small amount of oil in your hands.
- Massage it into your skin.
- Wipe the oil off with a damp cotton wool pad.
The oil gets off all the dirt or makeup you may have on your skin. And leaves it feeling super soft.
Oil cleansing is safe to do everyday. But, the choice is yours on how often you’d like to oil cleanse.
5. Exfoliate 1-2 Times a Week
Exfoliating repairs the skin, reduces acne and gets rid of dead cells. These three things results in healthy, radiant looking skin.
I love to exfoliate as it leaves my skin soft and vibrant. You can also make your own scrub by mixing sugar and honey together. That is one of the combinations I use. Make sure you only exfoliate once or twice a week though!
6. Get More Sleep
Who thought that more Sleep would result in better looking skin? I never. But, lack of sleep can really make an impact on your skin.
Not having enough sleep may lead to dark under eye circles (nobody wants that look), and a less radiant skin tone.
So, make sure you try to get more beauty sleep when possible. Whether it means going to bed earlier or taking naps in the day. It’ll be worth it.
